The new Children’s Hospital site was illuminated by MBerg® LED site lights. Matti Julin from SRV, the manager of the construction site, got acquainted with the durable and energy-efficient MBerg® LED luminaires already during the construction of the Tampere Tower Hotel 2013. Good experiences encouraged SRV to use luminaires on the Children’s Hospital site as well.
In addition to site lighting, EL & Site supplied temporary power equipment for the site: temporary power supply cabinets and cables. The high-quality Satema cabinets are made of light and corrosion free marine aluminum. In addition to traditional cables, new lightweight aluminum cables were used on site. Aluminum cables are similar in current values to traditional cables but are up to 30% lighter, making them much easier and more ergonomic to handle.
