ESE 206 HS-GT – long run time, low consumption

That is longer than the 18 hours of the ESE 306 HS-GT in the same size class.

Sizing: is 2.5 kVA enough?

A continuous power of 2.2 kW suits, for example, a single power tool, lighting or chargers. However, the maximum power of 2.9 kVA is available only for short periods.

The manufacturer gives indicative maximum loads of 2100 W, 1500 W and 1100 W for different device groups. The higher the starting current of a device, the lower the limit.

Motor-driven equipment, such as compressors and pumps, draws a multiple of its normal current at start-up. Therefore, leave them a generous margin.

ESE 206 HS-GT or ESE 306 HS-GT?

Both models measure 637 x 473 x 500 mm and weigh about 40 kg. However, the ESE 306 HS-GT delivers 2.9 kVA of continuous power and has two sockets.

Safety

The IP23 rating protects against splashes; however, do not leave the generator in the rain. In addition, check the oil level before each use.

Exhaust gas contains carbon monoxide, which can kill. Therefore, run the generator outdoors only, where air moves freely. Keep it away from doorways and air intakes.

Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for earthing and connections. In addition, refuel only when the engine is off and has cooled down.
