Modular cabinet SMC 300 – customisable contents

You can customise the contents of the cabinet for each worksite. When you choose only the components you need, you can save significantly.

Moreover, the five-slot cabinet suits sites that need fewer outlets. Then, for the next site, you customise the contents again.

Before ordering, count the outlets and protective devices the site needs. If possible, also leave a spare slot, because the power demand often grows as work progresses.

On the wall or on a stand

The Modular cabinet SMC 300 hangs on a wall. For example, the narrow frame fits in a stairwell or on a corridor wall.

If there is no wall, a stand weighing 16 kg is available. The cabinet itself weighs 18 kg, so moving it is easy.

For wall mounting, fix the cabinet to a sturdy structure. On the stand, however, you can place it wherever you need power and move it as work progresses.

Durable aluminium construction

The lockable door and the sturdy frame are powder-coated 2 mm aluminium. Aluminium is light, and it also withstands worksite conditions.

In addition, a locked door keeps outsiders away from the components. IP44 means protection against objects over 1 mm and splashing water from all directions.

Moreover, the powder-coated aluminium frame does not rust, so it stays in good condition in damp conditions too.

Choosing between Satema modular cabinets

The SMC 300 has 5 slots and a 400 A busbar. The larger SMC 700 has 12 slots, a 630 A busbar and its own forklift stand.

So choose the SMC 300 when you need few outlets or a narrow cabinet. Choose the SMC 700 when you need more outlets and the cabinet stands on the floor.
