ESE 20 YW/RS – long run time

The 190-litre tank and 4.2 l/h consumption give a run time of 44.9 hours at 75 % load. As a result, it runs clearly longer than the ESE 35 YW/RS with its 32.2 hours.

The analogue hour meter shows when the service interval is due.

The unit also has provision for coolant preheating. Therefore, it starts reliably in freezing weather too.

ESE 20 YW/RS or ESE 20 YW-B?

Both produce about 18 kVA. However, the ESE 20 YW-B is lighter at 520 kg, and its tank holds 51 litres.

The YW/RS weighs 985 kg. In return, it offers a 190-litre tank, a 63 A outlet, a terminal block and an IP54 panel with remote start.

Choose the YW/RS when the machine runs long periods or feeds a distribution board. The YW-B suits shorter jobs and easier moves.

Service and usability

A manual oil drain pump and a water separator in the fuel filter make servicing easier. In addition, the main power switch isolates the machine during maintenance.

Individually protected sockets keep the other outlets in use if one trips. For higher power needs, choose the ESE 35 YW/RS.

Part of temporary site power

For example, the CEE 63 A outlet can feed a plug-in sub-distribution board. However, fixed connections to the terminal block belong to a qualified electrician.

Safety

The ESE 20 YW/RS includes protection for hot engine parts and overload protection. In addition, the liquid-tight drip tray stops leaks from reaching the ground.

Exhaust gas contains carbon monoxide, which can kill. Therefore, run the generator outdoors only, where air moves freely. Keep it away from doorways and air intakes.

Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for earthing and connections. In addition, refuel only when the engine is off and has cooled down.
