Quiet running near homes and offices

The sound pressure level is 65 dB(A) at seven metres. That is less than the 67 dB(A) of the ESE 35 YW/RS and the 69 dB(A) of the ESE 60 IW/RS.

Low noise helps on sites close to housing or offices. For example, the sound-insulated canopy dampens running noise, and 1500 rpm running keeps vibration moderate.

The galvanised housing protects the structure from corrosion. As a result, the machine withstands long periods of outdoor use.

With the 190-litre tank and 7.4 l/h consumption, the run time is 25.7 hours at 75 % load.

The analogue hour meter helps you schedule service. In addition, an oil drain pump and a diesel filter with a water separator make maintenance easier.

Provision for coolant preheating and the battery charging connection help the machine start in cold conditions.

Sizing the ESE 45 YW/RS and other models

The rated current is 60.6 A. Therefore, keep the continuous load below the PRP power and leave a margin for starting currents.

Built on the same 2290 x 1080 x 1230 mm frame, the ESE 35 YW/RS produces 30.5 kVA. If you need more, the ESE 60 IW/RS delivers 54 kVA.

Part of temporary site power

For example, the CEE 63 A outlet feeds a plug-in sub-distribution board. However, a qualified electrician makes fixed connections to the terminal block.

Safety

The ESE 45 YW/RS comes with a main power switch, overload protection and protection for hot engine parts. In addition, the drip tray keeps fuel and oil leaks out of the environment.

Exhaust gas contains carbon monoxide, which can kill. Therefore, run the generator outdoors only, where air moves freely. Keep it away from doorways and air intakes.

Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for earthing and connections. In addition, refuel only when the engine is off and has cooled down.

Only a qualified electrician may connect the generator to a building’s electrical network. This way, the generator does not feed voltage into the distribution grid. You can read about the requirements for electrical work on the Tukes website.
