Why 1500 rpm suits continuous use

The generator runs at 1500 revolutions per minute. The slower speed means lower noise and vibration, as well as a longer service life and service interval.

Therefore, the model suits sites where the unit runs for days on end. Examples include the main supply of a worksite, industrial shutdowns and standby power for critical systems.

Meanwhile, AVR regulation keeps the voltage constant even when the load varies. The ±1 % frequency accuracy matters for sensitive devices and three-phase loads.

ESE 100 IW/RS for long running periods

With the extended fuel tank, the running time is 27.1 hours at 75 % load.

The 230 V / 16 A battery charging connection keeps the starter battery charged during idle periods. In addition, preparation for coolant preheating improves starting in frost.

The water separator in the diesel filter protects the engine. The oil drain pump makes oil changes easier, and the main switch makes servicing safer.

Sizing and comparison with other models

Size the generator so that the continuous load stays below the PRP output. Also allow for the starting currents of motor loads, which are briefly much higher.

ESE 100 IW/RS in worksite power distribution

The largest CEE 63 A outlet is suited to feeding site distribution, for example a plug-on sub-distribution board. The smaller 32 A and 16 A outlets and the 230 V sockets serve equipment directly.

Safety

On the ESE 100 IW/RS, overload protection, guarding of hot engine parts and a main switch are standard. Furthermore, the liquid collecting tray stops oil and fuel leaks from spreading to the ground.

Engine exhaust contains toxic carbon monoxide. Therefore, run the generator only outdoors or in a well-ventilated place where exhaust cannot enter buildings.

Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for earthing and connections. In addition, refuel only when the engine is switched off.
