Applications on site

Construction sites use the clamshell blower whenever air needs to circulate efficiently. Typical tasks include drying cement, concrete and floor surfaces in new and renovated buildings.

In addition, the blower supports site heating, so warm air spreads more evenly. It also speeds up the mechanical drying of water and moisture damage.

When drying, direct the air flow along the surface. The moving air carries moisture away from the surface, and as a result the surface dries faster.

Gaardblower D51 – three angles and three speeds

You can use the blower at three angles: 0°, 45° and 90°. Therefore, you can direct the air flow at the surface to suit each site.

In addition, three speeds let you match the air volume to the task. The maximum air flow is 5100 m³/h.

When the air needs to go further, fit the three-nozzle adapter and connect 7.6 m air hoses to it.

Gaardblower D51 – durable design

The reliable blower has a shell of impact-resistant polyethylene. As a result, it withstands knocks and transport, and the plastic does not rust on damp water damage sites.

Top-quality Japanese NSK bearings give the blower a long service life. In addition, the blower has a 2-year warranty.

The blower weighs 14.5 kg and measures 420 x 480 x 470 mm. Therefore, it is easy to lift into a van and take to the next site.

Part of drying

On a drying site, the clamshell blower works alongside a dehumidifier. You find suitable units in the dehumidifiers product group.

The dehumidifier collects water from the air, while the blower keeps the air moving over the surface. Together, the units speed up drying.

Gaardblower D51 – safe use

The blower has a 5 m power cord with a plug. Check the power cord and plug before every use. Do not use a damaged unit; have it repaired or replaced instead.

Place the blower on a stable base so that the cord does not cross a walkway. A qualified electrician carries out repairs and electrical work. The requirements for electrical work are described on the Tukes website.
