A plate compactor for base work and paving

The STV-070-400 is a vibrating plate compactor that compacts gravel, crushed stone and sand before paving, asphalting or casting a foundation. The engine is a Honda GX160 with 5.5 horsepower and EU5 emission class.

Compaction performance

The plate measures 500 × 350 mm, the vibration frequency is 93 Hz and the centrifugal force 10.1 kN. The output is enough for compacting yards, narrow trenches and backfills. Maximum travel speed is 25 m/min and gradeability 35 degrees.

Moving the machine

Weight is 68 kg, so the machine can be moved by two people or with a small crane. The dimensions 680 × 370 × 590 mm mean it fits into the load space of a van.
