Why a painter needs a dedicated work light

Even general lighting hides small dents and roller marks. However, warm white light highlights them, so you can fix a defect during the same coat.

Experienced painters often place the light at a low angle along the wall. As a result, the surface casts small shadows, and unevenness stands out clearly.

A well-placed light reduces rework after inspection. For example, it saves time on large sites with many similar wall surfaces.

The light comes with a stable stand that keeps it firmly upright during work. In addition, you can move it from wall to wall as the job progresses.

The 3 m power cord with plug gives you room to position the light. Often it reaches the nearest socket without an extension cord.

The 150 W output lights the wall you are working on brightly. Therefore painting does not depend on daylight, even in the dark season.

Choosing a painting light

If you need light for inspecting surfaces and a stand is essential, this light is a complete package. The light, stand and cord arrive in one delivery.

When you fix the light to structures or need cooler light, see the Völler 200W floodlight. It lets you switch between three colour temperatures.

For a smaller extra light on a 2.5 m stand, consider the compact PROLED PLUS 3000. You can find the full range under floodlights and other luminaires.

Völler painter’s floodlight 150W – safe use

Check the supply cable and plug before every use. Take a damaged luminaire out of use until it has been repaired. Place the stand so that the cord does not cross a walkway.

A qualified electrician makes fixed installations and mains connections. The Tukes website explains the requirements for electrical work.
