What H07RN-F means

H07RN-F is a harmonised cable type. The code 07 stands for a rated voltage of 450/750 V, R for rubber insulation and N for a chloroprene sheath.

F stands for a fine-stranded, flexible conductor. As a result, the cable is easy to handle and suits movable connections.

The marking 3×2.5 means that the cable has three conductors with a cross-section of 2.5 mm². However, the type code is the same for all H07RN-F cables, although the number of conductors and cross-section vary.
