Spine Plug & Play is an intelligent, easy-to-use load management device for generators. It prevents operation under excessively low load conditions, which are a common cause of carbon buildup, reduced efficiency, and premature generator wear.

The device is ideal for construction sites, events, and temporary power applications, where load levels vary and safe generator operation must be ensured automatically without constant supervision.

How Spine Plug & Play Works

Spine Plug & Play is connected directly to the generator outlet through which all generated power flows, enabling accurate real-time load measurement without additional installation work.

The compact in-line unit features:

• One incoming supply cable with a plug
• Two outgoing sockets:
  • A main socket for normal operating loads
  • A contactor-controlled auxiliary socket for an additional load, such as an electric heater

When generator load drops below a safe level, Spine automatically activates the auxiliary load. Once the normal load returns to a safe level, the auxiliary load is automatically disconnected.

• Spine Plug & Play 32A: 16A contactor-controlled auxiliary output for small to medium generators
• Spine Plug & Play 63A: 32A contactor-controlled auxiliary output for larger generators
• Spine Plug & Play 125A: 63A contactor-controlled auxiliary output for high-capacity generators
