The unit suits sites where you want to track a 125A board’s power consumption and load in real time without modifying the board itself. Metering without a fixed installation

The enclosure contains the Spine One central unit, pre-wired current transformers and an antenna. 50 cm 5×50 H07RN-F cables run from both ends of the enclosure, terminated with an extension socket and plug. The unit connects directly between the board and the supply cable, so no separate electrical installation or opening of the board is needed — metering is ready to use as soon as it’s plugged in.

Setup with a QR code

Setup is done using the QR code on the enclosure. The unit can be named in the Spine cloud service with any name or ID number, and it places itself in the correct spot on the riser diagram based on the details entered during setup. When you move to a new site, simply unplug the unit and move it as-is to the next board.

Winter brings requirements of its own. Condensation forms when cold equipment is brought into the warm, and moisture inside the enclosure is a common reason for an RCD tripping with no visible cause.

Mark the equipment with the site details and keep a record of what is fed from where. On a site with several contractors that saves time at every fault-finding.

RCD protection is mandatory for socket outputs on a site. Its operation is tested with the test button at commissioning and at regular intervals afterwards.

Installation and connection work is carried out by a qualified electrician. The equipment must be made dead before connection work, and the absence of voltage verified by measurement.

Place the equipment on level ground and so that it can be reached freely even when the site fills up with material. Material stacked in front blocks both use and emergency isolation.

Test the RCD with its test button at commissioning and at regular intervals afterwards. The test takes a second and is still almost always forgotten.
