Ten 230V sockets serve several workers at the same time, and two 16A outlets remain for larger devices. In addition, 3 x C16 single-pole and 1 x C16 three-pole breakers protect the outlets.

The Distribution box 16A TAS16/S/2 takes its power straight through a 16A plug, so you need no tools. Moreover, the ABS housing weighs only 4.5 kg, so you can carry it by the handle.

The board uses Bals sockets and a Schneider RCD under a clear, lockable cover. Moreover, the IP44 rating protects the components from site dust and splashing water.

It suits sites where several people use power tools at the same point. For example, sanders, drills and lights often run side by side in interior finishing work.

How the model differs from other distribution boxes

If you need phase measurement for load monitoring, choose the TAS16/S model with phase meters. For use with fewer sockets, the TAS16/1 box is a good fit.

Distribution box 16A TAS16/S/2 – safety

Before every use, check the housing, the supply cable, the plug and the socket covers visually.

Test the RCD with its test button at commissioning and regularly during use. If it does not trip, take the board out of use.

IP44 withstands splashing, but not permanent immersion. Also make sure that the supply is dead before you move the board.
