TSR-2700i inverter generator 2.7 kVA / 2.7 kW – petrol, single-phase
Product code (SKU): 707010001TSR-2700i inverter generator 2.7 kVA / 2.7 kW – petrol, single-phase
The TSR-2700i inverter generator produces 2.7 kW of clean alternating current to a 230 volt socket and weighs only 21 kg. Inverter technology keeps the voltage and frequency steady, so the generator can also run sensitive electronics. The control panel has a residual current device, which is exceptional in this size class.
- Rated output 2.7 kW, maximum output 2.9 kW
- 230 V / 50 Hz, 2 x earthed socket
- Residual current device on the control panel
- Weight 21 kg, fuel tank 5.8 l

A residual current device is exceptional in this size class
The control panel of the TSR-2700i has a residual current device. Portable inverter generators do not usually have one, and protection is left to the user’s own extension lead or a separate protective adapter.
A residual current device cuts the power if a fault conducts current to protective earth. That matters outdoors and in damp conditions, which is where site equipment is used.
The protection is therefore built into the unit and does not have to be remembered separately. Requirements for electrical work are set out in the HSE guidance on electrical safety.

Inverter technology suits sensitive electronics
The inverter first converts the current produced by the generator into direct current and then back into steady alternating current. Voltage and frequency stay stable even when the load varies.
This is why you can run measuring instruments, chargers and computers on this inverter generator. The voltage spikes of a conventional generator can damage them.
ECO mode lowers the engine speed under light load. Fuel consumption and running noise drop, and the unit runs longer on one tankful.
Light to carry and move
The unit weighs 21 kg and has a carrying handle. One person moves it from the van to the work point without any lifting aids.
The enclosed structure damps the noise. The measured sound pressure level is 72 dB(A) and the guaranteed sound power level 93 dB(A).
The fuel tank holds 5.8 litres of petrol. The engine oil capacity is 0.5 litres.

Suitable for Aspen 4 alkylate petrol
The unit carries an Aspen 4 marking. Alkylate petrol keeps in storage considerably longer than ordinary pump petrol, which is why it is recommended for equipment that stands idle between uses. Always follow the unit’s user manual when choosing and storing fuel.
Alkylate petrol burns more cleanly and reduces harmful substances in the exhaust. That is an advantage in equipment used intermittently and often outdoors close to the operator.
The unit also runs on ordinary unleaded petrol.
Two generators in parallel
The control panel has a parallel connection port. Two TSR-2700i generators can be connected together, which gives more power than a single unit.
Parallel connection is a lighter way to increase output than one large generator: each unit stays portable by one person and the other one can be used separately elsewhere.
If the power demand is permanently higher, the larger model in the range is the TSR-7500i inverter generator, with a rated output of 7.2 kW.
Where the TSR-2700i fits
On construction and renovation sites the generator feeds hand tools and site lighting where there is no mains power yet.
On maintenance and installation jobs the unit travels in the van and is ready to use in a few minutes.
As standby power it keeps lighting, refrigeration equipment and data connections running during a power cut.

Safe use
The generator is used outdoors or in a well-ventilated space only, because the exhaust gases it produces may contain odourless and dangerous carbon monoxide.
Place the unit on a level surface and refuel it with the engine switched off. Let the engine cool down before refuelling.
The operating temperature range is -10…+40 °C and the maximum installation altitude is 1500 metres.
TSR-2700i – manuals and spare parts
The user manual is available in nine languages: Finnish, Swedish, English, German, Dutch, Polish, Lithuanian, Czech and Slovak.
- User manuals in all languages
- Exploded view (PDF) – part locations and part numbers
- Spare parts list (Excel) – part numbers and product codes
The numbers in the exploded view match the part numbers in the spare parts list, so you can find the product code of the correct spare part straight from the drawing.

Frequently asked questions
Does the generator have a residual current device?
Yes. The residual current device is on the control panel. In portable inverter generators of this size class that is exceptional.
Is the generator suitable for computers and measuring instruments?
Yes. Inverter technology keeps the voltage and frequency steady, so sensitive electronics can be used.
How much does the generator weigh?
The weight is 21 kg. The unit has a carrying handle and one person moves it without lifting aids.
Can two generators be connected in parallel?
Yes. The control panel has a parallel connection port for joining two units.
Can alkylate petrol be used in the unit?
Yes. The unit carries an Aspen 4 marking. Alkylate petrol keeps longer in storage and burns more cleanly. Ordinary unleaded petrol works as well.
