Concrete curing cable 10m
Product code (SKU): 302030002Concrete curing cable 10m
BET –heating cable elements are intended for the curing and drying of concrete. Prevents the freezing of concrete and speeds up the drying process. The heating cable, which is fixed to the reinforcement, can be reconnected at a later stage for effective drying or heating, unless input cables are cut off.
Concrete hardening cables should only be installed against non-combustible structures in accordance with electrical safety regulations. The cable has a 2m plug with a plug.
Concrete curing cable 10m is a 380 W heating cable element for curing and drying concrete pours. The cable prevents the pour from freezing and speeds up drying.

How the curing cable works
You fix the cable to the reinforcement before concreting. When you switch on the voltage, the cable heats the pour from the inside.
The heat prevents freezing and speeds up drying of the concrete. As a result, a winter pour stays on schedule.
After curing, you can dry the building frame by reconnecting the cables. Therefore, do not cut off the supply cables.
Concrete curing cable 10m – choosing the length
The 10-metre cable is light and quick to install in smaller pours. Its output is 380 W.
A shorter option is the 3.3 m cable (130 W), and a longer one is the 20 m cable (735 W).
The series has six lengths. For example, the outputs are 3.3 m: 130 W, 10 m: 380 W and 20 m: 735 W. The longer cables have 35 m: 1400 W, 55 m: 2200 W and 85 m: 3200 W.
Concrete curing cable 10m – installation
Install the cables only against non-combustible structures and in accordance with electrical safety regulations.
Leave the 2-metre connection cable and the plug outside the pour. This way, you can also connect the cable later for drying.
For temperature monitoring, use a concrete thermometer and K-type sensors.
You can find all lengths on the heating and thawing page. In addition, other winter site supplies are among the site heating accessories.
Safety
The cables are intended only for curing and drying concrete pours. Therefore, do not use them for other heating.
Connect the cable to an RCD-protected socket on the site distribution board, and check the connection cable before use. A qualified electrician makes the electrical connections. You can read about the requirements for electrical work on the Tukes website.
