How to choose the right size of construction dehumidifier

Size the unit by the volume of the space and the time available, not by floor area alone.

• Floor area and ceiling height of the space
• Starting humidity and the target level
• Time available for drying
• Temperature on site – a refrigerant dehumidifier works best above 10 °C
• Whether a tank is enough or the condensate has to be pumped away

Water tank or continuous drainage?

The unit has a 7-litre tank with a full-tank sensor that stops the dehumidifier before it can overflow.
