Dehumidifier TK60 is a professional unit from Kroll’s TK series, built for demanding sites. It removes up to 60 litres of moisture a day and moves 1,000 cubic metres of air per hour. The built-in hygrostat measures relative humidity continuously and holds the space at the level you set.
Who is the Dehumidifier TK60 for?
The unit is built for new construction, large renovation projects, halls, basements and drying after water damage.
It is the right choice when the area is large or the drying has to be finished quickly. For smaller jobs, the TK40 in the same series is enough.
The built-in hygrostat handles the control
The hygrostat measures relative humidity continuously and starts and stops the unit at the level you set.
No external sensor is needed and nobody has to visit the site to switch the unit off once the target is reached. Drying stops by itself, which saves electricity and protects the structures from over-drying. The LED display shows the running state clearly.

Several units chain together through the side socket
The modular design lets several units be chained together using the socket on the side of the machine.
On a large site that means only the first unit needs its own feed from the distribution board. The chain starts and stops together, and there are fewer extension leads on the floor. Always check that the circuit fuse is rated for the whole chain.

Stackable – transport and storage take less space
The units stack on top of each other, which matters when a rental company moves several dehumidifiers at once.
The unit weighs 40 kilograms and rolls on large wheels with a tall handle. One person can therefore move it around the site, and in a van two units take the same floor space as one.
The TK series: TK40 and TK60
The main difference between the models in the TK series is the drying capacity and the air flow.
This model takes 60 litres a day and 1,000 cubic metres of air per hour. The smaller TK40 takes 40 litres and 580 cubic metres, and it also has an electric auxiliary heater. Choose the smaller model for enclosed spaces and the larger one when the area is big or the schedule is tight.

Automatic frost protection keeps the capacity up
In cool air, frost forms on the evaporator and capacity drops. Frost protection activates automatically when it is needed.
The user does not have to intervene, so the unit can be left running overnight and over the weekend. The built-in running-hour meter shows how many hours the unit has run – useful both for follow-up and for invoicing in rental use.
Collection tank or drain hose?
The condensate is led either to the collection tank supplied or straight to a drain.
At 60 litres a day the tank fills quickly, so for longer drying jobs a drain hose is fitted to the 12 mm connection. Installation is explained in the user manual. The principles of moisture management during construction are collected in the Finnish Kuivaketju10 operating model.
Operation and maintenance on site
Place the unit on a level surface in the middle of the room and keep the intake and outlet clear. Close doors and windows so it dries the room and not the outdoor air.
Clean the filter regularly – a blocked filter drops the capacity quickly. Check daily that the tank is not full or that the hose runs freely. Transport the unit upright.
Frequently asked questions
How much moisture does the Dehumidifier TK60 remove?
Capacity is 60 litres a day. Real capacity depends on temperature, humidity and how well sealed the space is.
Is a separate hygrostat needed?
No. The hygrostat is built in and measures relative humidity continuously. You set the level you want directly on the unit.
How are several units chained together?
Through the socket on the side of the machine. The first unit is fed from the distribution board and the rest are chained on, as long as the circuit fuse is rated for it.
Can the condensate go straight to a drain?
Yes. Instead of the collection tank, a drain hose is fitted to the 12 mm connection, so nobody has to empty the tank.
Is the Dehumidifier TK60 suitable for rental use?
Yes. The running-hour meter, the stackable construction and the fully automatic operation make it easy to rent out and invoice.
What is the difference between the TK60 and the TK40?
Capacity and air flow. This model takes 60 litres a day and 1,000 cubic metres of air per hour, the TK40 takes 40 litres and 580 cubic metres.
