Blower VAF-Floor Max 45 m³/min

Product code (SKU): 401030016

Blower VAF-Floor Max 45 m³/min

Blower VAF-Floor Max is a three-speed centrifugal floor blower for drying and air circulation. The air flow is 36, 39 or 45 m³ per minute, and the unit runs from an ordinary 230-volt socket. The impact-resistant polyethylene body is clearly lighter than sheet-metal models, so the blower is easy to carry from one site to the next. It is used for drying concrete and floor surfaces, alongside site heating, and in mechanical drying after water damage.

  • Air flow 36 / 39 / 45 m³/min, three speeds
  • 230 V 50 Hz, no three-phase supply needed
  • Weight 17.8 kg, impact-resistant polyethylene
  • Product number 401030016

Blower VAF-Floor Max – three blowing speeds

The blower has a three-position speed switch. The speeds are 36 m³/min at 1200 rpm, 39 m³/min at 1300 rpm and 45 m³/min at 1430 rpm.

Choose the speed by the size of the space and the stage of drying. Low speed is often enough overnight. Full output, however, changes the air quickly.

Where the Blower VAF-Floor Max fits

The blower dries concrete and floor surfaces, because moving air speeds up surface drying considerably. With floor coverings and levelling compounds, air movement matters as much as temperature.

The moist air must move out of the boundary layer, so that drying continues. Therefore, aim the air along the surface rather than straight down. Also point several units the same way, so that one air flow forms.

Alongside site heating the blower evens out temperature differences: warm air circulates instead of collecting at the ceiling. For water and moisture damage, place it parallel to the drying surface, together with dehumidifiers.

Lightweight polyethylene body withstands site use

The body is impact-resistant polyethylene: it does not rust and does not dent the way thin sheet metal does.

The light construction also eases carrying and lifting. Moulded handles sit on top, and the units stack for storage and transport.

Wide outlet directs the air along floor level

The outlet is 512 mm wide and low, so the air flow travels far along the floor.

Protective grilles on both the outlet and the inlet keep objects out of the impeller.

Blower VAF-Floor Max – choosing within the series

The Blower VAF-Floor Max is the floor model in the series, blowing low and wide. However, if you need a high air flow through a hose, the 120 m³/min hose blower is a better choice.

In smaller spaces the 56 m³/min model often suffices. All models run on 230 V mains voltage.

Choose the floor model when the surface is large and the air must move at floor level.

Blower VAF-Floor Max – safe use

Connect the blower to an earthed socket. A qualified electrician always carries out electrical installations on site. The requirements are described on the Tukes website.

An extension lead must suit outdoor use and be fully unwound. In addition, keep the inlet clear so that air circulates freely.

Blower VAF-Floor Max – transport, storage and maintenance

The stackable body saves space in the warehouse and the van. Also, the handles on top let one person lift the blower.

Clean dust off the inlet grille regularly: a blocked grille reduces air flow and loads the motor. Store the blower dry and check the power cord before every use.

Frequently asked questions

How much air does the blower move?

The air flow is 36, 39 or 45 m³/min, at 1200, 1300 or 1430 rpm respectively.

Does it need a three-phase supply?

No. The blower runs on 230 V 50 Hz, from an ordinary socket.

How much does the blower weigh?

It weighs 17.8 kg, clearly lighter than a metal-bodied model.

Can the blower be used in an upright position?

Yes. Use it horizontally or upright. In an upright position the air goes against a wall or ceiling.

How many blowers does a space need?

That depends on the space, the stage of drying and the heating. Give us the floor area in your quotation request.

What is the product number?

The product number (MPN) of the Blower VAF-Floor Max is 401030016. Use it in quotation requests.
