A grinder pump for black waste water

The STP-1500MG is a heavy-duty grinder pump intended specifically for pumping black waste water. The pump housing is cast iron and the motor casing stainless steel, so the pump stands up to continuous professional use. Power is 1.5 kW, flow rate 300 l/min and the head up to 22 metres.

The grinder keeps the impeller clear

A separate grinder cuts solids at the suction opening before the impeller. That is exactly what prevents clogging when the water contains toilet paper, fibres or other solids. In practice the pump keeps running in situations where an ordinary submersible pump would stop.

Automatic operation and thermal protection

The pump has a float switch for starting and stopping, so it works on its own. A built-in thermal cut-out stops the pump if it is about to overheat and resets automatically once the temperature has fallen.
