BAU-LED 2 10m – uses

The 10 m strip is the shortest 950 lm/m version in the series. For example, it suits one floor of a staircase, a short corridor or a cramped technical room.

When the line must grow as work progresses, you connect a new 10 m piece to the previous one. As a result, the lighting grows in small steps and no strip goes unused.

In addition, the anti-glare coating and 5000 K colour temperature give even work light at close range.

Chaining and connection

You join the strips with the quick, tight Quick Twist connection. You can chain up to 60 m after one connection cable.

Leave the end cap in place on the last strip of the line. If the site is longer, split the lighting into several chains, each with its own connection cable and feed.

Connection cable, branches and battery backup

The strip needs a 1.5 m connection cable with a plug and Quick Twist connector, sold separately. The connection cable has an IP44 rating.

You can split the line in two directions with a Quick Twist T-branch. If you want the light to work during a power cut, add the BAU BAT battery backup between the supply and the connection cable.

For longer continuous lines, the 20 m strip and the 50 m version work with the same Quick Twist connection.

BAU-LED 2 10m – safety

The strip runs on 230 V mains voltage. Check the strip, connections and end cap before every use, and take damaged parts out of use.

The strip’s IP67 protection withstands site damp, but the connection cable is IP44. Therefore place the plug in a dry spot. The Tukes website explains the requirements for electrical work.
