Modular Site Distribution Board SCS-750
Product code (SKU): 505010013Modular Site Distribution Board SCS-750
SCS-750 Fastline Modular Site Distribution Board for Flexible Construction Site Power
The SCS-750 Fastline modular site distribution board is a versatile 12-module-slot site distribution enclosure built on the ABB Fastline system. It is designed to adapt to changing construction site requirements, allowing the internal configuration to be tailored precisely to each project.
By selecting only the required fuse outlets and components, unnecessary costs can be avoided. When the site changes, the internal setup can be reconfigured to match new demands. Unused module slots are safely covered with protective blank plates, ensuring a clean and secure installation.
The SCS-750 features Spine readiness, enabling easy integration of the Spine monitoring system, for example via a Spine main switch module. With Spine, an optional load indicator light can be added to visually display the distribution board’s load level:
-
Green light below 65% load
-
Yellow light at 65–85% load
-
Red light above 85% load
This visual feedback supports safer operation and helps prevent overload situations on site.
For handling and installation, the enclosure is equipped with lifting eyes and carrying handles. The distribution board is supplied as standard with robust tubular legs, which can be fully removed and stored inside the enclosure when suspended or during transport. An optional fixed base is available and is particularly suitable for forklift handling.
Manufactured from powder-coated aluminium, the enclosure is corrosion-free and built to withstand harsh construction site conditions. A lockable door provides added security.
Manufactured in Finland, the SCS-750 Fastline modular site distribution board delivers durability, flexibility, and high-quality engineering for professional temporary power distribution.
Modular Site Distribution Board SCS-750 is a 12-module-slot worksite distribution cabinet built on ABB’s Fastline system, whose contents can be configured to match the exact needs of each site. Choosing only the fuse-switches and other components actually needed can save significant costs. The contents can be reconfigured again for the next site. Unused module slots are covered with blank plates.
Spine-ready with a load-level indicator light
The SCS board is Spine-ready, meaning the Spine system can be connected to it, for example via a Spine main switch module. Spine also makes an optional indicator light available, showing the board’s load level. Below 65% load the light at the top of the board glows green, at 65–85% load it glows yellow, and above 85% load it turns red.
Durable design and easy to move
The board has lifting loops and handles. It’s supplied as standard with sturdy tube legs, which can be removed entirely and pushed into the board for transport when the board is to be suspended. A fixed base is also available as an accessory, well suited for moving the board with a forklift, for example. Made of powder-coated aluminium for corrosion resistance, the board withstands heavy handling on site. Lockable door.
This high-quality board is manufactured in Finland.

Modular Site Distribution Board SCS-750 on the worksite
The distribution board is the site’s outlet point: power for hand tools, lighting and dryers is taken from it. It is placed close to the work so that extension cords stay short.
Boards are added as the site grows. The whole is worth planning in advance so that the supply is sufficient for all of them.
Where Modular Site Distribution Board SCS-750 is used
Typical sites are construction projects, renovations, industrial maintenance and event power. What they share is that the electrical supply is temporary and the conditions are demanding.
Temporary does not mean lighter requirements. Site equipment is exposed to dust, moisture, moving and mechanical stress in a way that fixed installations never are.
Check the load distribution between phases during use. Uneven distribution overloads one phase while the others run half empty, and the usual symptom is a fuse that keeps tripping.
Modular Site Distribution Board SCS-750 – how to choose the right model
The equipment is chosen by rated current and outputs. Start by calculating the simultaneous load and the output types needed, and choose the model on that basis.
Other models of the same type are Temporary power supply subcabinet 250 A, Sub cabinet 160 A, Sub cabinet TAK 125A KS, Sub cabinet TAK 63 A KS, Subcabinet TAK 32A.
Other details that affect the choice: protection class IP44, short-circuit withstand lcf = 25 kA, weight 57 kg, dimensions 750 x 505 x 1060 mm. These are worth checking already at the quotation stage.

Modular Site Distribution Board SCS-750 – practical notes for use
Winter brings requirements of its own. Condensation forms when cold equipment is brought into the warm, and moisture inside the enclosure is a common reason for an RCD tripping with no visible cause.
Mark the equipment with the site details and keep a record of what is fed from where. On a site with several contractors that saves time at every fault-finding.
RCD protection is mandatory for socket outputs on a site. Its operation is tested with the test button at commissioning and at regular intervals afterwards.
Modular Site Distribution Board SCS-750 – installation and maintenance
Installation and connection work is carried out by a qualified electrician. The equipment must be made dead before connection work, and the absence of voltage verified by measurement.
Place the equipment on level ground and so that it can be reached freely even when the site fills up with material. Material stacked in front blocks both use and emergency isolation.
Test the RCD with its test button at commissioning and at regular intervals afterwards. The test takes a second and is still almost always forgotten.
The unit weighs 57 kg. Take the weight into account when moving and lifting – damage is most often caused during transport, not in use.
Check the joints and fixings regularly during use. A joint that heats up is a sign of a fault and should be corrected before the fault spreads.
Modular Site Distribution Board SCS-750 – safety and inspections
Site electrical installations are subject to the same requirements as fixed installations, and some of them are stricter. The equipment has to withstand moving, dust, moisture and mechanical stress for the whole project.
The installation is inspected at commissioning and regularly during use: enclosure, joints, the operation of the protective devices and the fact that live parts cannot be reached.
Damaged equipment is not repaired improvised on site. A cracked enclosure, a burnt terminal or a damaged socket is replaced – on a site a temporary repair almost always becomes permanent.
Document the configuration and any changes made. Up-to-date information on outputs and protection speeds up fault-finding and the next inspection.
Delivery and sizing help
We deliver the equipment together with the cables and the rest of the site power supply in one delivery, so the set is complete when it arrives on site.
Describe the whole site in your request for quotation: supply power, the outputs needed and the estimated length of the project. We size the set on that basis.
Use the product number 505010013 when ordering and when asking about spare parts. It identifies this exact model, which matters when the same series comes in several sizes.
We also help with the sizing. If you are unsure about the size or the number of outputs, ask us – equipment sized wrong costs more than equipment chosen right the first time.
