Spine for fixed-input boards is a simple way to connect the worksite’s electrical network to the Spine remote management service, letting you monitor in real time power consumption, CO2 emissions, load distribution between phases, any voltage drop, and more. IP65 enclosure and three current transformers

The product has a sealed IP65 enclosure, from which 3 current transformers extend, clamped onto the board’s supply conductors. Inside the enclosure is a Spine One central unit and an antenna. For the Spine unit’s power supply, the product has a 1.8m connection cable fitted with a 16A plug.

Installation on the board’s supply cable conductors

The enclosure can be mounted inside or outside the fixed-input board for the best reception for the Spine 4G antenna. The current transformers are clamped onto the board’s supply cable conductors L1, L2 and L3, and the 16A power cable is plugged into the board’s 16A socket. The Spine enclosure is connected to the Spine service using a QR code.

The device places itself correctly in the Spine service

The board can be named in the Spine service with any name or ID number. The device automatically places itself in the correct spot on the riser diagram based on the details entered during setup. Read more about the service here.
