What the Connection cable BAU-LED 2.0 is for

BAU-LED 2 230V strips come without a connection cable. Therefore, each strip chain needs one cable to take power from the socket.

You can chain up to 60 metres of strip after one cable. If you have several lines, or a longer line, each chain needs its own cable.

The rubber H07RN-F cable is a common choice on worksites, because the cable meets moisture and dirt there.

Connecting to the strip

The Quick Twist connector joins the cable to the end of the strip. The joint is quick to make, and it is sealed.

Fix the strip and the cable first, and then insert the plug into the socket. Since the cable is IP44, keep the plug away from direct water.

Suitable strips and accessories

The cable suits, for example, the BAU-LED 2 20 m strip and the green 5 m marking strip.

For battery-backed safety lighting, the BAU BAT battery backup goes between the cable and the socket.

When a T-branch splits the line in two directions, both take power from the same cable. Then add up both directions and stay within 60 metres.

Check the sheath, the plug and the Quick Twist connector before use. Also remove a damaged cable from use instead of taping it.
