WorkLite 48V 12W – light with low power

Low power means lower electricity consumption per light. When a site has dozens of lights, the difference shows in the project’s electricity bill.

A service life of over 70 000 hours is long. As a result, the light lasts through several projects, and you do not need to plan light source changes in the middle of the site schedule.

Like other WorkLite models, the light withstands site impacts and vibration. In addition, it is daisy-chainable, so building a line goes quickly.

Connection and transformers

You chain the lights and connect them to a 48-volt lighting transformer. The wall-mounted transformer rack suits the VMKK-630 and VMKK-1500 transformers.

The VMKK-630 lighting transformer is enough for a smaller site: it has one 16 A protected output for max. 20 lights. For a larger site, choose a two-output transformer.

Comparison with other models

If you need more light at the same point, the WorkLite 48V 21W is the 21-watt basic model of the series.

The 12 W Sensor model with a motion sensor dims itself when nobody moves in the area. Therefore, it saves energy in rarely used spaces.

WorkLite 48V 12W – safety

Safety extra-low voltage (48 V) reduces the risk of electric shock in wet and cramped worksite conditions. Installing the light does not require an electrician’s authorisation. Even so, check the light and cables before installation, and take a damaged light out of use.
