WorkLite 230V Safety – the light stays on

Mains-powered lighting goes out when the supply fails. The battery of the safety model, however, keeps the light on during the outage.

As a result, people on site have time to finish the work phase and leave safely. For example, this matters in a dark stairwell or at the edge of an excavation.

The light withstands impacts and vibration on site, and it is daisy-chainable like other WorkLite lights.

Safety models in 230V lighting

You place safety models among the standard lights on exit routes and at hazardous points. Therefore, the whole lighting does not need to consist of safety models.

The light connects to the 230-volt supply in the same way as the standard model. Installing the light does not require an electrician’s authorisation.

Mark the positions of the safety models in the plan, so they end up in the right places when the lighting moves. In addition, check the placement whenever site routes change.

WorkLite 230V Safety – safety

The light runs on 230-volt mains voltage. Therefore, connect it to a socket protected by a residual current device (RCD), and check the cables and housing before each use.
