WorkLite Mini Safety – protection for power outages

A power outage can hit a site without warning. Stairwells, shafts and scaffolding then turn dangerous in an instant.

The battery of the safety model, however, keeps the light on during the outage. As a result, routes stay visible and people can leave in a controlled way.

In normal use, the light works like a standard Mini model on the 230-volt network. In addition, it is made in Finland and has a 24-month warranty.

Placement on site

Place safety models on exit routes, stairs and points where darkness would be dangerous. Elsewhere, standard lights are enough. Check the placement whenever site routes change.

The light is daisy-chainable, so you can connect it to the same chain as standard 230V WorkLite lights. Installing the light does not require an electrician’s authorisation.

WorkLite Mini Safety – safety

The light runs on 230-volt mains voltage. Therefore, connect it to a socket protected by a residual current device (RCD), and check the cables and housing before each use.
