TSR-HUB 63A Spine Generator is an intelligent worksite distribution board that connects directly to the generator’s 63 A outlet. All power produced by the generator passes through the unit, and the integrated Spine system keeps the generator’s load at a safe level automatically — without constant supervision.

Who is the TSR-HUB 63A Spine Generator for?

Built for temporary power setups where electricity is produced by a generator: construction sites, events, and industrial sites with short-term power distribution needs. It’s especially suited to sites where the load varies throughout the day and safe generator operation needs to be guaranteed without anyone monitoring the load by hand.

All generator power through one board

The unit is a HUB 63A worksite board that takes in the generator’s full output. Because all power flows through this single board, the system sees the whole load — not just part of it — and can react reliably to changes in load.

TSR-HUB 63A Spine Generator: smart load management prevents underloading

The integrated Spine system controls two 16 A outputs on the board. When the board’s total consumption — i.e. the generator’s load — drops below the optimal level, Spine automatically switches on an auxiliary load through the contactor-controlled output. Once the main load rises again, the auxiliary load switches off automatically. An auxiliary device, such as an electric heater, is connected behind the controlled output.

Why too light a load is harmful to a generator

Running a generator on too light a load can cause several operational and mechanical problems:

  • Carbon buildup and wet stacking, when combustion temperature stays too low
  • Poor combustion and increased smoke
  • Reduced efficiency and higher fuel consumption
  • Diluted engine oil and premature engine wear
  • Unstable voltage and frequency regulation

By maintaining a stable minimum load, the TSR-HUB 63A Spine Generator improves the generator’s reliability, efficiency, and service life.

Commissioning without separate installation work

Commissioning is simple: connect the board’s supply to the generator’s output and plug your equipment into the outputs you need. No rewiring or site-specific setup is required — the board is ready to use as soon as it’s connected.

TSR-HUB 63A Spine Generator is part of the Spine remote monitoring system

Beyond load management, the board provides real-time data, remote monitoring, and predictive alerts.

Frequently asked questions

How does the TSR-HUB 63A Spine Generator prevent generator underloading?

When the generator’s load drops too low, Spine automatically switches on an auxiliary load through the controlled 16 A output. Once the main load rises again, the auxiliary load switches off.

Does commissioning require site-specific programming?

No. The board connects directly to the generator, and no separate rewiring or programming is needed.

What can be connected to the controlled output as an auxiliary load?

An auxiliary device, such as an electric heater, is connected behind the controlled 16 A output and switches on and off automatically based on the load.

Can I see the generator’s load remotely?

Yes. The board is part of the Spine remote monitoring system, which shows the load in real time and sends predictive alerts.

Is the board easy to move between sites?

Yes. The board weighs 16.5 kg, so it can be moved and installed on a new site without any lifting equipment.
