Hydronic heater TSR WH50 – how it works

You connect the heater to the district heating network with a heat exchanger. The fan then transfers the heat from the network into the air of the site.

The powerfully blown warm air circulates in the space and dries the structures. In construction, drying and air circulation are therefore the most important tasks.

If the site is outside the district heating network, however, ground source heat can serve as the heat source under certain conditions.

Hydronic heater TSR WH50 – sizing and model choice

The WH50 delivers 50 kW, and its airflow is 4400 m³/h. In addition, it is the only model in the series that connects to a 400 V / 16 A supply.

The mid-sized WH30 delivers 30 kW and 2300 m³/h at 230 volts. For the smallest spaces, the WH15 with an airflow of 800 m³/h is suitable.

All models have 2 x Camlock 25 mm connections. As a result, you can swap heaters without new hose connections.

Moving, maintenance and heat source

The heater weighs 152 kg and measures 1310 x 755 x 915 mm (H x W x D). Therefore, plan the transfer route and lifts in advance.

Maintenance is simple, and standard filters fit the heater. For example, the G4 class WH50 filter is a suitable replacement filter. For heat distribution, a metal nozzle is also available.

The heaters are made in Finland, spare parts availability is good, and the heaters have a long life span.

As a heat source, you need a heat exchanger, for example the mobile TSR V-Heat 400kW MK III. You can find the full range in the hydronic heating product group.

Safety

The sound level is 90 dB(A). Therefore, wear hearing protection when you work near a running heater.

The heater has no flame and no combustion gases. In addition, the IP44 enclosure protects the unit against splashing water.
