BAU-LED 2 20m – uses

The 20 m length is a practical mid-size. For example, it covers an apartment block corridor, a scaffold level or a long stairwell.

The compact strip runs along a ceiling or wall even in tight spots. In addition, it withstands frost well, so it also suits unheated spaces.

When there are several floors, you can assign 20 m strips floor by floor and join them in the same chain.

Chaining and connection

You join the strips with the quick, tight Quick Twist connection. You can chain up to 60 m after one connection cable.

Leave the end cap in place on the last strip of the line. If the site is longer, split the lighting into several chains, each with its own connection cable and feed.

Connection cable, branches and battery backup

The strip needs a 1.5 m connection cable with a plug and Quick Twist connector, sold separately. The connection cable has an IP44 rating.

You can split the line in two directions with a Quick Twist T-branch. If you want the light to work during a power cut, add the BAU BAT battery backup between the supply and the connection cable.

For shorter additions, use the 10 m strip. However, when you need one long continuous line, choose the 50 m strip.

BAU-LED 2 20m – safety

The strip runs on 230 V mains voltage. Check the strip, connections and end cap before every use, and take damaged parts out of use.

The strip’s IP67 protection withstands site damp, but the connection cable is IP44. Therefore place the plug in a dry spot. The Tukes website explains the requirements for electrical work.
