Equipped with a motion sensor, the WorkLite ™ saves up to 50% more energy than a standard WorkLite ™. When there is no movement in the area, it dims itself to 10% power, thus consuming only 2.5 W of electricity. Like other models, it withstands shocks and vibrations on site. Long-lasting and mechanically highly durable LED as a light source enables cost-effective use even during long projects. WorkLite ™ is easy to install and does not require electrician authorization. The WorkLite ™ chainable is available in three voltages: 48 V and 110-230 V.

WorkLite 48V Sensor – benefits of the motion sensor
Many site spaces stay lit all day, even though people visit them only now and then. Storage areas, corridors and stairwells are typical examples.
The motion sensor dims the light when nobody is there. When someone enters the area, however, the light returns to full power.
According to the manufacturer, the sensor model saves up to 50 % more energy than a standard WorkLite. With the low 12-watt power, consumption stays very low.
Placement and connection
Place the light so that the sensor sees the walkway. The sensor reacts only to what it detects.
The light connects to a 48-volt lighting transformer like other WorkLite models, for example the VMKK-1500 transformer.
Comparison with other models
For constant work light, the WorkLite 48V 12W without a sensor suits well. The sensor model works best in spaces that people use only occasionally.
For spaces that need more light, there is also a 21 W Sensor model.
WorkLite 48V Sensor – safety
Safety extra-low voltage (48 V) reduces the risk of electric shock in wet and cramped worksite conditions. Installing the light does not require an electrician’s authorisation. Even so, check the light and cables before installation, and take a damaged light out of use.
