Knipex pliers – use in installation
In 48-volt worksite lighting, Scotchlock connectors join the lights to the trunk line. You press the connector around the trunk cable and the light’s cable.
With pliers, crimping stays even and quick, even with dozens of joints. As a result, the joints are reliable.
Place the trunk line and the light’s cable in the connector, and press it closed.
Then check that the light comes on. A faulty joint is easiest to fix during installation.
Connectors and cables from the same place
With the Knipex pliers you need 48V flat connectors. For the trunk line, for example, use a 2×2.5 mm² lighting cable.
Alternatively, you can use flat nose pliers. Other installation accessories are in the product group.
