Normally, the luminaire works as part of the 48 V lighting. When the supply fails, however, the 2600 mAh lithium battery keeps the light on and then switches it off automatically.

The battery still holds charge for 30 minutes of reserve use. As a result, people can leave the site safely and sort out the situation before the light runs out.

In addition, the signal light on the battery pack shows charging, battery operation or a possible fault.

Battery replacement and winter use

The battery pack sits outside the luminaire, under the handle between the handle and the body. Therefore, battery replacement is quick and easy, and you do not need to open the luminaire.

A heating film protects the battery, so it can charge even in freezing temperatures. For example, you can switch the luminaire off with the off switch on the battery pack during storage.

Safety

The low 48 V voltage reduces the risk of electric shock in wet site conditions. However, check the battery status from the signal light regularly so that the backup works when needed.
