A leak caught in hours, not weeks
The water meter detects an abnormal night-time flow and sends an alarm immediately. An automatic shut-off valve can cut water supply outside working hours, so a weekend pipe burst never gets to soak finished structures.
Lights and generator take care of themselves
Site lighting on when a shift starts and off automatically when it ends, on a schedule. If the site has a generator, Spine keeps its load at a safe level automatically, even when the site is quiet.
Site paperwork doesn’t disappear with the folder
A construction project runs for months or years, and site management changes along the way. The Spine service stores the device’s inspection and testing documents, and manuals and site drawings are logged directly against the device.

Does Spine need its own network connection on site?
No. The device has a built-in 4G connection, so no separate network infrastructure is needed, even in difficult terrain.
Can consumption be allocated to a single contractor?
Yes. A report can be scoped to part of a site, for example one contractor’s area or a single distribution board.
Is data kept once the site is complete?
Yes. Measurement data and documents are retained for the whole life of the project, including after handover.
Does Spine work with an existing distribution board?
Yes. Spine is available either integrated into a site distribution board or as a separate Plug & Play device for an existing board.
